PRESS RELEASE: Guandong’s excellence squared in the new MMXX2 Collection

February 15, 2022: “Welcome 2022, the year of excellence squared”. This is how Guandong presents its new 2022 Collection. A collection with an extremely evocative name: MMXX2 Excellence Squared, derived from the year 2022 expressed in Roman numerals. “We believe that excellence means always providing the best possible tools to help our customers’ businesses grow“, explains Daniele Faoro, Guandong’s Team Principal. This is why the Specialty Specialist has developed a large collection of innovative solutions and services, just like a great stylist, designed to meet the most recent needs of visualcom and interior decoration. They’re almost tailor-made proposals, no longer contained in a simple catalogue, but in a genuine work tool aimed at all the interlocutors in the supply chain, from retailers to printers, architects, installers and, finally, end customers.

A window on the vast and varied world of Guandong, a constantly evolving business, as evidenced by the numerous new products in the 2022 Collection. Starting from the new modern and captivating graphics and the organisation of the contents. All the proposals are in fact divided by the type of application, making searching more immediate even for non-experts. The simple and intuitive product information sheets include a brief description of each item, and are accompanied by photos of completed projects, technical and printability information, and certifications. Moreover, on each page, the QR codes provide access to additional information sheets, but also to advice on applications, photo galleries and updated price lists, creating an even more multimedia experience.

The S.O.S.TAINABILITY concept brings all the solutions together. In the MMXX2 Collection there are many areas dedicated to this theme, and it’s also possible to download Guandong’s special Green Revolution Manifesto. This approach not only involves a commitment to develop printing materials which are increasingly recyclable and ecological throughout their life cycle, but also eco-friendly activities, implemented both inside and outside the company. Among the new green products included in the collection for the first time, there’s Dotty Satin, a film for glass decoration and privacy with glue dots and Air Release (Scarico d’Aria®), made with 74% Regenerated PVC that combines elegance and sustainability; TAP (polyester adhesive fabric), now also available in a recycled, recyclable and self-extinguishing version – EN13501-certified – for interior decoration, as well as in a recycled and recyclable R9-certified floor version, for trendy and eco-friendly floor graphic applications. Then there are the Naomi fabrics, further optimised with new recycled polyester yarns, now also compatible with digital textile printing systems that use pigment ink, such as CreO. This combination will make it possible to create one of the most sustainable solutions in today’s European panorama of visual communication, saving almost 5,000 litres of water for every 1000 linear metres of totally recycled and recyclable printed product.

To complete the offer, there’s Réclame!®, the new service that produces video and interactive content, combining a multimedia evolution of visual communication and digital decoration. “There are companies which prefer to use multimedia systems such as monitors and touch screen totems rather than traditional window decals or traditional roll ups. With the expansion of this range, we have bridged the gap between analogue and digital with video content solutions such as SkIn, for interactive screens, and VideoWally, the 4.0 wallpaper. Finally – continues Faoro – Réclame!® is made up of a team of professionals and cutting-edge technologies that are now accessible to all SMEs.”

The new MMXX 2 Collection is offered alongside the innovative marketing tools that Guandong has launched over the past year. One of the most popular of these is the 14x24cm Pocket swatch books, which your customers can touch to discover the incredible opportunities that Guandong solutions offer. Then there’s the App, further optimised to be even more user-friendly, which offers a vast gallery of images and videos illustrating the application possibilities of the various materials, with advice from the Guandong Specialists – in 5 languages – just a touch away on your smartphone.

Finally, the MMXX2 Collection offers an overview of the touch points that characterise Guandong, also in the corporate sphere: from the birth of the Mr Magnus division to the creation of a network of complementary companies, such as Oniion and G5 Factory, right through to the consultation service offered to architects, designers, graphic studios and end-users. There is also much focus on the training and culturalization of the entire supply chain, as evidenced by Guandong’s permanent presence in meeting spaces for communication and design experts, such as the Decor Lab in Milan and the Nod Maker Space in Bucharest. We have also announced our recent entry into the prestigious Retail Institute, representing the only manufacturer of plastic materials and supports. A map that outlines the strategies, tools, services and partnerships of an increasingly future-oriented customer experience: indeed, we are already hearing about Metaverso and Wallet ETH in the corridors of the Guandong and Mr Magnus R&D department.
